    Our Photo Booklet

This homemade booklet was originally printed for the doctors and support staff of our all-volunteer group.   We believe the following pages from the booklet will give you insight as to what we do for the people of Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras.  They are some of the poorest people in this part of the world.

South Texas Physician Outreach is

made up of volunteer physicians, surgeons and support staff from San Antonio,Texas who each year use their expertise to help the people of Honduras to survive the lack of medical and social services.

Each year the group leaves San Antonio carrying about 40 trunks full of supplies.  Each member carries for himself only one piece of luggage. On landing at San Pedro Sula the four-hour bus trip to Santa Rosa de Copan begins.
